More details and full instructions
Quizzes (20%):
There will be a series of quizzes during class. Students will be warned
in the prior lecture. The quizzes will be marked by the instructor.
The average score from all the quizzes will be
used to contribute to the Student's grade (except in cases where a student
missed too many quizzes, where it will be at the discretion of the
instructor).
Homework (0%, but.....):
Homework will be set periodically, but not required to be handed in:
it will not be formally marked.
Homework is intended to
strengthen the understanding of the course.
It is anticipated that some homework questions will provide good practice
for the types of question likely to be posed in the quizzes and exams.
There will be opportunities for students
to discuss the homework and any problems encountered
during class.
