Face-to-Face Review
|
The Face-to-Face will take place:
(by appointment)
|
The submitted report will be discussed one-on-one with the instructor.
- This face-to-face will probably last between 5 and 15 minutes.
-
The student will be expected to orally describe their report, and
the instructor may ask questions to verify that the student is indeed
sufficiently familiar with (ie the author of) the
report submitted.
This part of the process is primarily
to enable to the instructor to check that a student actually does
know/understand the contents of the report
submitted under their name.
- The instructor will of course
point out any errors in the submitted report at this stage,
enabling the student to revise the information to be given in
their
presentation.
After the report and the face-to-face,
20% of a student's
final grade will be assigned.
- The remaining 5% (out of the 25% of the final grade assigned
to this activity)
will be allocated based on the
presentation.
