Overview:
This course emphasizes vibrations, wave motion and optics. Topics include mathematical characterization of vibrations and waves, sound, superposition of standing waves, geometrical and physical optics, difffraction, interference and polarization of light. [See Full Syllabus.]

A number of WWW-based aides & summaries will be available, such as a lecture summary, a review summary, and several tips & techniques. This course will also make use of some of the facilities provided by Blackboard.
