Studies of AGN underway within the JCA
|
Most of the studies currently underway within the
JCA
are associated with
X-ray & Gamma-ray observations, although
complementary
radio,
infrared,
optical and
ultra-violet
observations are
often also used.
In particluar, many of the recent studies have focused on
Seyfert Galaxies
and on
the
jets in
Radio Galaxies
&
Blazars.
|
A number of the members of the
JCA study
various aspects of Active Galactic Nuclei. These include:
James Chiang -
theoretical studies of X-ray & Gamma-ray reprocessing, and
accretion disk winds.
Ian George -
observational & interpretational
studies of X-ray & Gamma-ray reprocessing, and photoionized gas.
Eric Perlman - observational & interpretational
studies of blazars, the evolution of active galaxies, and the physics of jets
Jane Turner - observational & interpretational
studies of X-ray & Gamma-ray reprocessing, and photoionized gas.
