FGF "Compton-Reflection" Calculations

The following are illustrations of various Compton Reflection spectra, similar to those calculated in George & Fabian (1991). See also the atomic data/assumptions used for the calculations, and t he FGF+ page

Observed EW of Fe Kalpha vs Inclination

The following are the EWs (in eV) of the Fe Kalpha against the observed continuum assuming a centrally illuminated (neutral, infinitely thick) slab subtending 2pi sterad assuming cosmic abundance viewed at an inclination angle i from the "face-on" (basically a tabular form of George & Fabian (1991) Fig.14).
Gamma 1.3 1.5 1.7 1.9 2.1 2.3
i=0 195 177 160 144 132 122
i=10 195 177 160 143 132 122
i=20 192 174 157 142 130 120
i=30 187 169 153 138 126 116
i=40 178 160 146 130 120 110
i=50 165 149 135 121 110 102
i=60 144 130 118 106 98 90
i=70 113 101 92 83 76 70
i=80 65 59 53 48 43 40

The following are the EWs (in eV) of the Fe Kalpha against the reflected continuum for the above slab.
Gamma 1.3 1.5 1.7 1.9 2.1 2.3
i=0 1790 1630 1470 1320 1220 1120
i=30 1750 1590 1440 1300 1190 1100
i=60 1600 1440 1310 1180 1100 996

The following give the ratio of the Normalization of the Kalpha line to the Normalization of the pexrav model in xspec (for the case where pexrav parameter rel_refl=-1).
Gamma 1.3 1.5 1.7 1.9 2.1 2.3
i=0 1.93x10-2 1.23x10-2 7.66x10-3 4.75x10-3 3.02x10-3 1.92x10-3
i=30 1.87x10-2 1.17x10-2 7.31x10-3 4.55x10-3 2.87x10-3 1.83x10-3
i=60 1.42x10-2 8.83x10-3 5.54x10-3 3.43x10-3 2.20x10-3 1.38x10-3
